How to commission a piece of Furniture from Ian & Dec

  1. Contact us by whichever means suits you.
  1. Brief us with your requirements including as much information as possible such as, Size, Budget, timescale, etc.
  1. Where possible we will come and visit you to get a sense of the space the piece is being designed to. We do not charge for this initial visit normally
  1. Having assimilated all the information received! We then produce 1 or 2 concept designs and present them to you  for discussion. We charge a pre-arranged flat fee for this which is only payable if the commission does not go ahead.
  1. If necessary as is often the case with items such as chairs, we prototype the design for you to try out and then we tweak it accordingly
  1. We undertake the making phase after receipt of an initial payment. Depending on the scale of the project we may agree several interim payments with a final payment usually on delivery.
  1. We encourage clients to come and visit us during the making phase so you can get an even greater understanding of what goes in to making your piece of Furniture.
  1. Finally sometime after delivery, your feedback is invaluable for us to continually evaluate our service to you.
